HEEEEEEEY…

My name is Ty Divers, a 20-something-year-old (a lady never tells) from Dallas, Texas. If you were to ask the people involved in my life to describe this chick in three words, they couldn’t, it’s impossible, trust me they tried. The abundance of adjectives that would be thrown your way would range from loyal, ambitious, fun, loving, goofy, opinionated, and everything in between. After graduating in 2012 from The Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University with my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, my career ventures lead me down different paths, but one thing that ultimately remained true is my passion for marketing and digital media. Currently, I am working on a dual master’s degree program receiving my MBA, and Master of Science in Marketing at Texas A&M University-Commerce, with an expected graduation date of August 2017.

With school well on the way, I had an unplanned layoff from my last position, and I found myself among the group of 20,000 other millennials (exaggerated number), stuck between either accepting a low paying job at entry-level or rejected from most positions I had applied for because I didn’t have enough experience. So it was back to the drawing board for me. I sat down and thought to myself “what am I good at” besides shopping, eating, and sleeping? After a few days, with hundreds of doodles and scribbled messages written all over notebook paper, I finally thought back to what my friend Ross has told me every time I would post a Facebook status with my opinion, “Ty, you really need to start a blog.” I had no idea where to start, but I took a leap of faith, followed my gut, and with that, Ms. Unapologetic was born.

About Ms. Unapologetic…

So now that you have gotten through all that, I know it was a lot, let me guess you are thinking, oh great, another chick talking about fashion, makeup, and celebrities. WRONG! The reason for Ms. Unapologetic creation, to break social norms and redefine taboo, all from a female perspective. This is a community where people can read and chat about topics they want to know, but are too embarrassed or scared to ask. So buckle your seatbelts, and dig right in, because I am positive you will find something that you will enjoy, after all…

Unapologetically Bold…Unapologetically Free…Unapologetically Me.
